3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove the air purifier from its packaging.

3.2 Filter Installation
The Filtrete Smart Air Purifier comes with a True HEPA filter (F2) pre-installed. Before first use, ensure all packaging is removed from the filter.
- Locate the filter access panel on the unit.
- Open the panel and remove any plastic wrapping from the True HEPA filter.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the Power button on the electronic touch control panel to turn the unit on or off.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Filter Replacement
The filter life indicator on the control panel will show the percentage of filter life remaining. It is recommended to change the filter when the indicator reaches 0%.
- Frequency: Approximately every 6 months, based on 12 hours of run time per day.
- Filter Type: Use only F2 Filtrete Filters.
- Procedure:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
- Open the filter access panel.
- Remove the old filter by pulling on the tab.
