5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean your headlamp, gently wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or internal components. Ensure the charging port is clean and dry before charging.
5.2 Storage
Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to charge the battery periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) to maintain battery health.
6. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check that the headlamp unit is securely connected to the battery pack.
- Battery life shorter than expected: Note that the 3500 lumens is a temporary boost mode. Continuous high brightness (1600 lumens) has a run time of approximately 4 hours. Lower modes offer longer run times.
- Charging issues: Verify that the magnetic charging cable is properly seated and that the USB power source is functional.
- Water ingress: While the headlamp is IP68 rated, ensure all seals are intact and the charging port cover (if applicable) is closed before exposure to water. If issues persist, contact customer support.
