2. Safety Information
- The working voltage for this LED strip is 12V DC. Do not connect to power adapters exceeding 12V, as this can damage the product and pose a safety risk.
- The LED strip generates extremely low heat, making it safe to touch and suitable for environments accessible to children.
- This product is rated IP20, meaning it is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity. Intended for indoor use only.
- Handle the strip light with care during installation to prevent tearing or damage to the PCB (Printed Circuit Board).

4. What's in the Box

Note: A 12V 5A power adapter is required for operation and is not included with this product.
5. Setup
- Prepare Power Supply: Obtain a compatible 12V 5A DC power adapter. Ensure the power adapter's connector matches the 2.1x5.5mm DC female connector on the LED strip.
- Test Connection: Before permanent installation, connect the LED strip to the 12V power adapter and plug it into a power outlet to verify functionality.

6. Installation
- Surface Preparation: Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly. Ensure it is dry, smooth, and free of dust or grease for optimal adhesive performance.
- Measure and Cut (Optional): If a shorter length is needed, measure the desired length and cut the LED strip only along the designated cutting marks (indicated by copper pads and a scissor icon). Cutting elsewhere will damage the circuit.
- Peel Adhesive Backing: Carefully peel off the blue release paper from the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip. Use a sharp, thin object to lift the edge of the release paper if it is difficult to start.

- Apply Strip: Press the adhesive side of the LED strip firmly onto the prepared surface. Apply even pressure along the entire length to ensure good adhesion.
- Connect Power: Plug the DC connector of the LED strip into your 12V 5A power adapter.
7. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and connected to a 12V power supply, the LED strip will illuminate. If using a compatible dimmer (not included), you can adjust the brightness from 0% to 100% to suit your needs.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Inspection: Periodically check the strip for any signs of damage, loose connections, or adhesive degradation.
- Storage: If storing the strip, ensure it is coiled loosely and kept in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
9. Troubleshooting
- Lights Not Turning On:
- Ensure the 12V power adapter is correctly connected and plugged into a working power outlet.
- Verify that the power adapter is 12V DC and provides sufficient current (recommended 5A).
- Check for any visible damage to the LED strip or its connectors.
- Uneven Brightness:
- For longer runs, voltage drop can occur, leading to decreased brightness towards the end of the strip. Ensure the power supply is adequate and consider powering from both ends for very long installations if possible.
- Adhesive Not Sticking:
- Ensure the installation surface was clean, dry, and smooth before application.
- Apply firm, even pressure along the entire strip during installation.
- For rough or textured surfaces, additional mounting clips or stronger adhesive may be required (not included).
