Key Components:

• Main LED Light: Located at the front of the flashlight, provides bright illumination.
• Night Light LED: Located at the bottom of the flashlight, illuminates when docked in the charging station in low light conditions.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Initial Charge

The Alecto ATL-110 comes with 3 AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries pre-installed. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device to ensure optimal battery life and performance.

5.2 Charging Station Placement

Plug the induction charging station directly into a standard wall outlet (240V). Ensure it is placed in a location where the night light function is desired and where the flashlight is easily accessible for emergency situations.

5.3 Charging the Flashlight

Place the ATL-110 flashlight into the charging station. The flashlight will begin charging automatically via induction. The device is designed to be kept in the charging station when not in use, ensuring it is always charged and ready.

6. Operation

6.1 Flashlight Function

• Automatic Activation: When the flashlight is removed from the charging station, the main LED light will automatically turn on.
• Manual ON/OFF: Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the flashlight to manually turn the main LED light on or off.
• Adjusting Brightness: To adjust the light intensity (dimming), press the 'M' (Mode) button repeatedly to cycle through available brightness levels.

6.2 Automatic Night Light Function

• When the flashlight is in the charging station, the bottom LED acts as an automatic night light.
• The built-in light sensor will activate the night light automatically when the ambient light is low (e.g., at dusk or in a dark room).
• Turning Off the Night Light: While the night light is on and the flashlight is in the charging station, press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for approximately 3-4 seconds. The night light will turn off. This setting has a memory function and will remain off until manually reactivated.
• Reactivating the Night Light: To turn the night light back on, press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for 3-4 seconds again while the flashlight is in the charging station.

6.3 Emergency Light Function

• In the event of a power outage, if the flashlight is in the charging station, the main LED light will automatically turn on, providing immediate emergency illumination.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals. Do not immerse the flashlight or charging station in water.

7.2 Battery Care

The included NiMH batteries are designed for long life. For optimal performance and to ensure the flashlight is always ready, keep it in the charging station when not in active use.

8. Troubleshooting

• Flashlight not turning on:
  Ensure the batteries are charged by placing the flashlight in the charging station for several hours. Verify the flashlight is properly seated in the charging station.
• Night light not working:
  Check ambient light conditions; the night light only activates in low light. Ensure the night light function has not been manually turned off (refer to '6.2 Automatic Night Light Function').
• Charging issues:
  Confirm the charging station is securely plugged into a working wall outlet. Check for any obstructions between the flashlight and the charging contacts.
• Night light is too bright:
  The night light intensity is fixed. If it is too bright for a specific location, consider utilizing the option to manually turn off the night light function (refer to '6.2 Automatic Night Light Function') or relocate the unit.
