1. Introduction

The DINGXUEMEI Danmini YB-43HD-MT is an intelligent digital peephole doorbell viewer designed to enhance home security. It features a 4.3-inch HD screen, a 3.0MP security camera, night vision, PIR motion detection, and voice intercom capabilities. This device can be installed without modifying existing door structures, offering a convenient and effective security solution.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your digital peephole doorbell viewer:

  1. Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has a standard peephole. Remove any existing peephole viewer. The device is designed to fit standard peephole holes without additional drilling.
  2. Install Outdoor Unit: Insert the cable of the outdoor peephole camera unit through the peephole hole from the outside of the door. Ensure the camera is facing outwards and is securely seated.
  3. Attach Mounting Bracket: From the inside of the door, thread the camera cable through the central hole of the mounting bracket. Secure the bracket to the door using the provided screws.
  4. Connect Indoor Unit: Connect the cable from the outdoor unit to the corresponding port on the back of the indoor display unit.
  5. Mount Indoor Unit: Align the indoor display unit with the mounting bracket and slide it downwards until it locks into place.
  6. Insert TF Card (Optional): If you wish to record photos or videos, insert a compatible TF card into the designated slot on the indoor unit.
  7. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the indoor unit to turn it on.

5. Operating Instructions

The Danmini YB-43HD-MT offers multiple operating modes and features for enhanced security.

5.1. Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually on the side or bottom of the indoor unit) for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

5.2. Main Operating Modes

The device features three primary modes:

  • At Home Mode: When the doorbell button is pressed, the indoor unit rings, and the screen automatically activates, displaying the visitor. You can manually take a picture or record a video if desired.
  • Leave Home Mode: When the doorbell button is pressed, the indoor unit rings, but the display remains off. The device automatically takes a picture or records a video of the visitor.
  • No Disturb Mode: When the doorbell button is pressed, the outdoor unit's light indicates 'no disturb', and the indoor unit will not ring or activate the screen. The device will automatically take a picture or record a video of the visitor.

5.3. Viewing Outdoor Conditions

To view outside at any time, press the switch key on the indoor unit. The screen will display the live feed from the outdoor camera. Pressing the viewing key again while the screen is active will capture a picture or start recording a video, which will be saved to the TF card.

5.4. Voice Intercom

The device supports two-way voice intercom. When a visitor presses the doorbell, after the screen activates, you can use the touch keys on the indoor unit to initiate a voice conversation with the visitor.

5.5. Night Vision

The outdoor camera is equipped with infrared night vision, allowing clear viewing of visitors even in low-light conditions or complete darkness.

5.6. PIR Motion Detection

The integrated PIR motion detection feature automatically detects movement near your door. When motion is detected, the device can be configured to automatically take a picture or record a short video, even if the doorbell is not pressed. These recordings are saved to the TF card.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and camera lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery: Ensure the device is charged regularly. If the battery is removable, replace it with an authorized battery when necessary.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged and stored in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting
