5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the trimmer.
2. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Attaching a Grinding Head

1. Select the appropriate grinding head for the user's age (refer to Section 7: Grinding Heads Guide).
2. Gently push the chosen grinding head onto the rotating spindle at the top of the trimmer until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently pull the grinding head off the spindle.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the central button once to turn the device on. Press again to turn it off.
2. Adjust Speed and Direction: Use the up and down arrows on the central button to select desired speed and rotation direction.
   • R1/R2: Right (clockwise) rotation, R1 is low speed, R2 is high speed.
   • L1/L2: Left (counter-clockwise) rotation, L1 is low speed, L2 is high speed.
   • 0: Off.
3. Activate LED Light: The LED light automatically activates when the trimmer is turned on, providing clear visibility of the nail.
