4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The Archer 2A V3 requires two AA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Insert two AA batteries with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.
Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly according to polarity markings to prevent damage to the flashlight.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power ON/OFF
- Momentary Activation: Press the tail cap halfway to momentarily activate the light.
- Constant ON/OFF: Fully click the tail switch to turn the light on or off.
5.2 Mode Selection
When the light is on, use the side switch to cycle through the brightness modes:
- Cycle Modes: Single press the side switch to rotate among Firefly, Low, Medium, and High modes.
- Strobe Mode: Long press the side switch to activate Strobe mode. Single press the side switch again to exit Strobe mode and return to the previously used brightness level.
5.3 Mode Memory Function
The Archer 2A V3 features a mode memory function. It will remember the last used brightness mode (Firefly, Low, Medium, or High) when turned off and will activate in that mode when turned back on. Strobe mode is not memorized.
