3. Setup

3.2 Connecting Your Ampero MP-100

4.2 Navigating the User Interface

The Ampero MP-100 features a 4-inch touch screen and physical knobs/footswitches for navigation and control:

• Touch Screen: Tap icons and menus directly on the screen to select effects, adjust parameters, and navigate presets.
• MENU/VALUE Knob: Rotate to scroll through options or adjust parameter values. Press to confirm selections.
• Footswitches: Use the four footswitches to change presets, toggle effects on/off, or activate the looper/tuner. The Halo LEDs indicate the status of each footswitch.

4.3 Preset Management and Effect Editing

The Ampero MP-100 allows for extensive customization of your sound:

• Selecting Presets: Use the footswitches or the touch screen to browse and select from the 198 available presets.
• Editing Effects: Tap on an effect block on the screen to enter its editing interface. Adjust parameters using the knobs or by dragging on the touch screen. You can arrange up to 9 effect blocks simultaneously in your signal chain.
• IR Loading: The unit supports user custom IR loading, allowing you to import third-party Impulse Responses for cabinet simulation.

The built-in looper and drum machine are valuable tools for practice and songwriting:

• Looper: Activate the 100-second looper via a dedicated footswitch or the touch screen. Record, overdub, and playback loops.
• Drum Machine: Choose from 100 built-in drum rhythms to play along with. Adjust tempo and volume as needed.
• Tuner: Access the precise chromatic tuner by holding down the designated footswitch.
