5. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the various adjustable features of your Cangaroo Kimchi High Chair:
- Height Adjustment:
The high chair offers 5 height positions. To adjust, locate the height adjustment buttons on the side of the main frame (usually near the top of the legs). Press these buttons simultaneously and slide the seat unit up or down to the desired height. Release the buttons to lock the seat into position. Ensure both sides are locked at the same height.

- Backrest Recline:
The backrest can be adjusted to 3 different recline positions. Locate the recline lever or button behind the backrest. Press or pull the lever and adjust the backrest to the desired angle. Release the lever to lock it in place.
- Tray Adjustment and Removal:
The double tray can be adjusted forward or backward to accommodate your child. To adjust, locate the release mechanism (often a lever or buttons) under the tray or on the sides. To remove the tray for cleaning or to bring the chair closer to a table, activate the release mechanism and slide the tray off the armrests.
- Using the 5-Point Safety Harness:
Always secure your child with the 5-point safety harness. Place your child in the seat, bring the shoulder straps over their shoulders, and the waist straps around their waist. Connect the two shoulder straps to the waist straps, then insert all buckles into the central buckle until they click. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug, secure fit without being too tight. To release, press the button on the central buckle.
- Moving the High Chair:
The high chair is equipped with two wheels on the rear legs for easy movement. To move the chair, slightly lift the front legs and roll the chair using the rear wheels. Ensure the chair is stable and locked in place once positioned.
- Folding for Storage:
To fold the high chair for compact storage, remove the tray. Locate the folding release mechanisms on the frame (similar to unfolding). Activate these mechanisms and gently push the legs together until the chair folds into its compact position. Ensure it is securely locked in the folded state.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your high chair:
- Seat Upholstery: The soft seat cushion is removable and washable. Refer to the care label on the fabric for specific washing instructions. Typically, it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, or hand-washed.
- Tray: The removable double tray is dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning. Alternatively, wash it by hand with warm soapy water.
- Frame: Wipe the plastic and metal parts of the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Harness: Clean the safety harness straps with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow to air dry completely before use.
- Storage: When not in use, store the high chair in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Cangaroo Kimchi High Chair, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- High Chair does not unfold/fold easily:
Ensure all locking mechanisms are fully disengaged before attempting to fold or unfold. Check for any obstructions in the folding joints. Apply gentle, even pressure.
- Tray does not attach securely:
Verify that the tray is correctly aligned with the slots on the armrests. Push firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is locked in place. Check for any debris in the slots.
- Seat height or backrest recline not locking:
Ensure the adjustment buttons/levers are fully released after selecting the desired position. Wiggle the seat/backrest slightly to confirm it is securely locked.
- Harness straps are too tight/loose:
Adjust the length of the straps using the adjusters on each strap. Ensure the harness is snug but comfortable, allowing one finger to fit between the strap and your child's body.
