Setup Guide

1. Charging and Inserting Batteries

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
2. Insert a fully charged 900mAh battery, ensuring the correct orientation.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4. To charge, connect the camera to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
5. It is recommended to fully charge both batteries before first use.

2. Inserting a Micro SD Card

A Micro SD card (not included) is required for storing photos and videos. The camera supports Micro SD cards up to a certain capacity (please refer to specifications for maximum supported size, typically 32GB or 64GB for similar cameras). Ensure the card is formatted before first use.

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
2. Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

3. Attaching the Waterproof Case and Mounts

The waterproof case protects your camera during underwater activities and from impacts. Various mounts allow attachment to helmets, bicycles, and other surfaces.

1. Place the camera inside the waterproof case, ensuring it fits snugly.
2. Close the latch on the waterproof case firmly to create a watertight seal.
3. Attach the desired mount to the waterproof case using the provided screws and adapters.
4. Secure the mount to your helmet, bicycle, or other equipment. Always double-check the security of the case and mounts before use, especially in water.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button (usually on the front or top) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button again for a few seconds until the screen turns off.

2. Mode Selection

Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through different modes: Video Recording, Photo Shooting, Playback, and Settings.

3. Recording Video

1. Switch to Video Recording mode.
2. Press the OK/Shutter button (usually on the top) to start recording. A red indicator light will blink, and a timer will appear on the screen.
3. Press the OK/Shutter button again to stop recording.

4. Taking Photos

1. Switch to Photo Shooting mode.
2. Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
3. Press the OK/Shutter button to take a photo.

5. Playback

1. Switch to Playback mode.
2. Use the Up/Down buttons (if available) to navigate through your recorded videos and photos.
3. Press the OK/Shutter button to play a video or view a photo in full screen.

6. Connecting to a Computer or TV

• USB Connection: Connect the camera to your computer using the USB cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to transfer files.
• HDMI Connection: Connect the camera to an HDMI-compatible display using an HDMI cable (not included) to view content on a larger screen.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera lens and LCD screen. For the waterproof case, rinse with fresh water after saltwater use and allow to air dry.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. If not using the camera for an extended period, remove the batteries.
• Waterproof Case: Regularly inspect the waterproof case's O-ring seal for any debris or damage. Clean and lubricate the O-ring as needed to maintain its watertight integrity.
• Storage: Store the camera and accessories in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight.
