2. Filling with Soap
The dispenser has a maximum capacity of 12 fl. oz.

3. Connecting to Alexa (Optional)
To utilize smart features and Alexa Routines, connect your dispenser to the Alexa app.

Operating Instructions
Automatic Soap Dispensing
The dispenser uses a motion sensor for touch-free operation.
- Place your hand under the soap nozzle. The motion sensor will detect your hand.
- Soap will be dispensed automatically.
- Variable Dispensing: The amount of soap dispensed can be controlled by how far you place your hand under the nozzle. Placing your hand closer to the nozzle typically results in less soap, while placing it further away provides more.

20-Second Handwashing Timer
The integrated LED timer helps ensure you wash your hands for the recommended duration.
- After soap is dispensed, the ring of LED lights on the top of the dispenser will illuminate.
- The lights will gradually extinguish over a 20-second period, indicating the recommended handwashing time.
- Once all lights are off, you have completed the 20-second wash cycle.

Alexa Routines (with compatible Echo device)
If paired with an Echo device, you can create custom Alexa Routines.
- In the Alexa app, navigate to Routines.
- Create a new Routine with the "When this happens" trigger set to your Smart Soap Dispenser.
- You can configure Alexa to play music, tell a joke, or say a custom phrase when you start washing your hands.
Disabling Routines
To temporarily disable Alexa Routines without unpairing the device:
- Press the central button on the top of the dispenser.
- When the button is lit, Routines are disabled. The 20-second timer lights will still function.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Dispenser
To keep your dispenser clean and functional:
- Wipe the exterior of the device with a dry or damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the dispenser in water.
- If the nozzle becomes clogged, gently clean it with a soft brush or cloth.
Soap Type
Only use standard liquid hand soaps. Foaming soaps, hand sanitizers, or other alcohol-based products are not compatible and can damage the internal pump mechanism.
