5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge the headphones. A full charge provides approximately 6 hours of battery life. Charging takes about 1.5 hours.

  1. Locate the micro USB charging port on the control unit.
  2. Connect the supplied micro USB cable to the charging port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter).
  4. The LED indicator will show the charging status. It will typically turn off or change color once fully charged.

5.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The CX 120BT uses Bluetooth 4.1 for wireless connectivity. Follow these steps to pair your headphones with a new device:

  1. Ensure the headphones are turned off.
  2. Press and hold the multi-function button (usually the center button on the remote) for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  4. Search for available devices. You should see "CX 120BT" in the list.
  5. Select "CX 120BT" to connect. If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000" (four zeros).
  6. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator will flash blue periodically, and you will hear an audible confirmation.

The headphones will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when turned on.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Wearing the Headphones

For optimal sound quality and comfort, select the correct ear tip size and position the neckband correctly.

  1. Choose the ear tips that provide a secure and comfortable fit in your ear canal. Experiment with the three included sizes (S, M, L).
  2. Place the neckband around your neck, allowing the earbuds to rest comfortably in your ears. The ergonomic design ensures a secure fit.

6.2 Using the Three-Button Remote

The integrated three-button remote allows for easy control of music playback and calls.

  • Center Button (Multi-function):
    • Press once: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
    • Press twice: Next track.
    • Press three times: Previous track.
    • Press and hold (approx. 2 seconds): Reject call, Activate voice assistant.
    • Press and hold (approx. 5-7 seconds from off): Enter pairing mode.
  • Volume Up (+) Button:
    • Press once: Increase volume.
  • Volume Down (-) Button:
    • Press once: Decrease volume.
