- Attach Cleaning Pad: Secure a microfiber cleaning pad to the bottom of the mop head. The pads typically attach via a hook-and-loop system.

- Wait for Heating: Allow approximately 30 seconds for the unit to heat up and produce steam. The indicator light may change color or turn solid when ready.
4. Operating Instructions
The Hoover Steam Complete Pet Steam Mop offers versatile cleaning options:
4.1. Floor Cleaning (Mop Mode)
For general floor cleaning, ensure the microfiber pad is attached. Select the desired steam level (Min or Max) using the steam control dial. Gently push the mop forward and backward over the floor surface. For stubborn areas, hold the mop over the spot for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your steam mop:
- Cleaning Pads: After each use, remove and wash the microfiber cleaning pads. They are machine washable. Allow them to air dry completely before storing.
- Empty Water Tank: Always empty any remaining water from the reservoir after each use.
- Store Properly: Store the steam mop in an upright position in a dry, cool place. Utilize the included storage bag for accessories.
- Descaling (Monthly/As Needed): To prevent mineral buildup, especially if using tap water (though distilled is recommended), perform a descaling procedure monthly or as needed. Consult the detailed user manual (PDF) for specific descaling instructions.
