1. Important Safety Instructions

  • The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.
  • Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
  • Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers since they are liable to explode.
  • Only use utensils suitable for microwave ovens.
  • Clean the oven regularly and remove any food deposits.
  • Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they can scratch the surface, which may result in shattering of the glass.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton. Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. If any damage is found, do not operate the oven and contact your retailer.

3.3 Placement

  • Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) clearance at the rear, 20 cm (8 inches) at the top, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side. The front of the oven should be at least 30 cm (12 inches) from the edge of the counter to prevent accidental tipping.
  • Do not place the oven near heat sources such as a conventional oven or radiator.
  • Do not place the oven in a damp area or near water.

3.4 Turntable Installation

  1. Place the turntable ring assembly in the center of the oven cavity.
  2. Place the glass turntable securely on top of the turntable ring. Ensure it sits properly in the center support.

3.5 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the rating label on the back of the oven.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

4.2 Setting the Clock

  1. Press the Clock button once.

  3. Press the Clock button again to confirm.

4.3 Basic Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable. Close the door.
  2. Press the Time Cook button.
  3. Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking time (e.g., 1 for 1 minute, 100 for 1 minute 00 seconds).
  4. To adjust power level (optional, default is 100%): Press Power Level, then use the number pad to enter a power level from 1 to 10 (10 being 100%, 1 being 10%).
  5. Press the Start button to begin cooking.

4.4 Defrost Function

The microwave offers both Time Defrost and Weight Defrost functions.

4.4.1 Time Defrost

  1. Place frozen food in the oven.
  2. Press the Time Defrost button.
  3. Use the number pad to enter the desired defrosting time.
  4. Press the Start button.

4.4.2 Weight Defrost

  1. Place frozen food in the oven.
  2. Press the Weight Defrost button.
  3. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the food in grams (e.g., 500 for 500g).
  4. Press the Start button. The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time.

4.5 Pre-set Cooking Functions

These functions allow for quick cooking of common items. Simply press the corresponding button and then Start.

  • Potato: For cooking potatoes.
  • Popcorn: For popping popcorn.
  • Pizza: For reheating or cooking pizza.
  • Beverage: For heating drinks.
  • Frozen Dinner: For heating frozen meals.
  • Reheat: For general reheating of food.

For most pre-set functions, you may need to press the button multiple times to select the desired quantity or serving size, if applicable, before pressing Start.

4.6 Kitchen Timer

This function operates independently of the microwave cooking functions.

  1. Press the Kitchen Timer button.
  2. Use the number pad to enter the desired time.
  3. Press the Start button. The timer will count down without activating the microwave.
