Setup

Before operating your ARRMA Felony, follow these setup steps:

  1. Charge Batteries: Fully charge your vehicle batteries using a compatible charger. Ensure the batteries are appropriate for 6S BLX systems.
  2. Install Transmitter Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the Spektrum DX3 transmitter and insert 4 AA batteries, observing correct polarity.
  3. Install Vehicle Batteries: Securely place the charged vehicle batteries into the battery trays on the chassis and fasten them with the provided straps. Connect the batteries to the ESC.
  4. Binding (if necessary): Your vehicle comes pre-bound. If re-binding is required, refer to the Spektrum DX3 manual for detailed instructions.
  5. Pre-Run Check: Inspect all screws, nuts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Check the steering and throttle response before driving.

Operating Instructions

Operating your ARRMA Felony is an exhilarating experience. Always operate in a safe, open area away from people, pets, and obstacles.

  1. Power On: Turn on the transmitter first, then the vehicle's ESC.
  2. Throttle Control: Use the trigger on the transmitter to control forward and reverse motion. Pull for forward, push for reverse/brake.
  3. Steering Control: Use the steering wheel on the transmitter to turn the vehicle left and right.
  4. Active Vehicle Control (AVC): The Spektrum SR6110AT receiver features AVC technology, which provides stability assistance. Adjust the AVC sensitivity on your transmitter as desired.
  5. Safe Driving: Start with slow speeds to get accustomed to the controls. Gradually increase speed as you gain confidence. Avoid driving in wet conditions or through deep puddles.
  6. Power Off: Always turn off the vehicle's ESC first, then the transmitter.
