Operating an RC helicopter requires caution and responsibility. Failure to operate this product in a safe and responsible manner could result in injury or damage to the product or other property.

  • Always operate in open spaces: Ensure there are no obstacles, people, or animals in the flight path.
  • Keep away from face and eyes: The rotating blades can cause serious injury.

4.2 Remote Controller Overview

The remote controller operates on a 2.4Ghz frequency, providing a control distance of up to 100 meters and anti-interference capabilities for multiple aircraft to fly simultaneously.

  • Power Indicator: Shows the controller's power status.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Helicopter Battery

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB adapter).
  2. Connect the helicopter battery to the charging cable.
  3. The indicator light on the USB cable will show charging status. Refer to the USB cable's specific instructions for light indications (usually red for charging, off/green for fully charged).
  4. Charging typically takes approximately 60-90 minutes. Do not leave batteries unattended while charging.

5.2 Installing Helicopter Battery

The GoolRC C129 uses a modular battery design for easy installation and removal. Ensure the helicopter is powered off before installing or removing the battery.

  1. Gently slide the charged battery into the battery compartment located on the underside of the helicopter.
  2. Ensure the battery is securely seated and the connector is firmly attached.
  3. To remove, gently wiggle the battery back and forth while pulling it out. Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to the helicopter or battery.

5.3 Installing Remote Controller Batteries

The remote controller requires 4 AA batteries (not included).

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pairing the Helicopter and Remote Controller

  1. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the helicopter by connecting its battery. The helicopter's indicator light will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote controller. The controller's indicator light will flash.
  4. Push the throttle joystick (left stick) all the way up, then all the way down. The indicator lights on both the helicopter and controller will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

6.2 Basic Flight Controls

  • Takeoff: Press the one-key takeoff button or slowly push the throttle joystick up.
  • Landing: Press the one-key landing button or slowly pull the throttle joystick down.
  • Altitude: Push the throttle joystick up to ascend, pull down to descend.
  • Forward/Backward: Push the directional joystick up to fly forward, pull down to fly backward.
  • Left/Right Side-fly: Push the directional joystick left to fly left, push right to fly right.
  • Rotation: Push the throttle joystick left to rotate counter-clockwise, push right to rotate clockwise.

6.3 Special Functions

  • Altitude Hold: The helicopter will automatically maintain its current altitude once the throttle joystick is released to the middle position.
  • Speed Switch: Use the speed switch button on the remote to toggle between different flight speeds (e.g., low, medium, high) for varying control responsiveness.
  • Emergency Stop: Long press the one-key takeoff/landing button for 3 seconds to perform an emergency stop. Use only in critical situations.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the helicopter. Avoid water or solvents.
  • Blade Inspection: Regularly check main and tail blades for cracks or damage. Replace damaged blades immediately using the provided spare parts and tools.
  • Storage: Store the helicopter and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries from the remote controller during long periods of non-use.
