Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your CROSSIO 52 Inch Crystal Ceiling Fan. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and retain it for future reference. Proper installation and adherence to these instructions will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.
Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when installing and operating electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning installation or performing any maintenance. All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes. If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
- Mounting: The ceiling fan must be mounted to a structure capable of supporting the fan's weight (approximately 19.7 pounds). Use only the outlet box marked 'Acceptable for Fan Support of 35 lbs (15.9 kg) or less'.
- Blade Clearance: Ensure there is adequate clearance from the fan blades to any walls or obstructions. A minimum of 7 feet (2.1 meters) from the floor to the blade trailing edge is recommended.
- Bulb Requirements: This fan requires 3 x E12 bulbs (not included). E12 LED bulbs are recommended. Do not exceed the maximum wattage specified for the light kit.
- Remote Control: Keep the remote control out of reach of children.

Setup and Installation
Professional installation is recommended for optimal safety and performance.
1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
- Ensure the mounting location can support the fan's weight.
- Gather all necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, ladder, etc.).
2. Mounting the Bracket
- Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling outlet box using the provided screws and washers. Ensure it is firmly attached.
3. Assembling the Downrod and Motor
- Select the desired downrod length (5-inch for minimum height 22.4 inches, 10-inch for maximum height 27.4 inches).
- Feed the electrical wires from the motor through the downrod.
- Attach the downrod to the motor housing and secure it with the pin and screw.
4. Hanging the Fan
- Carefully lift the fan assembly and place the downrod ball into the mounting bracket socket. Ensure the tab in the socket aligns with the groove in the ball.
5. Wiring Connections
- Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram provided in the separate wiring guide (if applicable) or standard electrical practices (e.g., black to black, white to white, ground to ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
6. Attaching the Canopy and Blades
- Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the provided screws.
- Attach the fan blades to the blade brackets, then attach the blade brackets to the motor housing.
7. Installing the Crystal Lampshade and Bulbs
- Install 3 x E12 bulbs (not included) into the sockets.
- Carefully attach the crystal lampshade to the light kit assembly, ensuring it is securely fastened.

Figure 1: Product dimensions, mounting options for flat and sloped ceilings, and control types (remote control shown). The fan has a total diameter of 52 inches. Minimum height is 22.4 inches with a 5-inch downrod, and maximum height is 27.4 inches with a 10-inch downrod. The canopy diameter is 5.9 inches and the lampshade size is 11.8 inches in diameter by 7.5 inches in height.
Operating Instructions
Your CROSSIO ceiling fan is operated using the included remote control.
Remote Control Functions
- Light ON/OFF: Press the 'Light ON/OFF' button to turn the light on or off.
- Fan ON/OFF: Press the 'Fan ON/OFF' button to turn the fan on or off.
- Wind Speed Adjustment: Buttons labeled '1' through '6' adjust the fan speed. '1' is the lowest speed, and '6' is the highest.
- Natural Wind: Activates a mode that simulates natural breezes by varying fan speed.
- Reversible Function (F/R): Press the 'F' button for forward (downdraft) mode and 'R' button for reverse (updraft) mode.
- Timer Function: Buttons '1H', '2H', '4H' set the fan to automatically turn off after 1, 2, or 4 hours, respectively.

Figure 2: Illustration of the fan's quiet operation due to its mute motor and the convenience of the timing setting for automatic shutdown.

Figure 3: The fan offers 6 wind speeds: 1-2 for a comfortable breeze, 3-4 for ventilation and cooling, and 5-6 for fast heat dissipation.
Reversible Function
The reversible motor allows for year-round use:
- Downdraft Mode (Forward): During warmer months, the fan blades rotate counter-clockwise to create a downward airflow, producing a cooling effect.
- Updraft Mode (Reverse): During cooler months, the fan blades rotate clockwise to create an upward airflow, circulating warm air trapped near the ceiling and distributing it throughout the room.

Figure 4: Visual representation of the reversible function. Downdraft mode delivers a downward cool breeze for hot days, while updraft mode promotes indoor warm air circulation during cold days.
Light Color Temperature
The light color temperature depends on the E12 bulbs purchased. The fan is compatible with various color temperatures, such as 3000K (warm white), 4500K (neutral white), and 6000K (cool white).

Figure 5: Examples of light color temperatures (3000K, 4500K, 6000K) achievable with appropriate E12 bulbs. The effect depends on the bulb purchased.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: To clean the fan, wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or crystals.
- Crystal Care: The K9 crystals can be gently wiped with a soft, lint-free cloth. For deeper cleaning, a mild glass cleaner can be applied to the cloth (not directly to the crystals).
- Blade Cleaning: Dust the fan blades regularly to prevent dust buildup, which can affect fan balance and performance.
- Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all screws and fasteners on the fan blades and mounting hardware.
- Motor: The motor is permanently lubricated and requires no additional oiling.
