4. Setup & Installation

Important: Ensure power is disconnected at the main circuit breaker before beginning installation. If you are unsure about electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.

  1. Prepare the Mounting Surface:

Identify the desired location for the lamp on the ceiling. Ensure the ceiling can support the weight of the fixture (2.2 kg plus bulbs). Mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket.

  2. Install the Mounting Bracket:

Drill holes at the marked points. Insert appropriate wall plugs (if necessary) and secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws.

  3. Connect Electrical Wiring:

Connect the lamp's electrical wires to your household wiring according to local electrical codes. Ensure proper grounding. Secure all connections with wire nuts or terminal blocks.

  4. Adjust Height (Pre-Mounting):

Before attaching the lamp body to the mounting bracket, adjust the suspension cables to your desired height. The lamp is height-adjustable up to a maximum of 1360 mm. The adjustment mechanism is typically located within the ceiling canopy or at the cable entry points. Press the small pin to release the cable and slide it to the desired length. Release the pin to lock it in place.

  6. Install Bulbs:

Screw five E14 base bulbs (max 25W each) into the lamp sockets. Do not overtighten.

  7. Restore Power:

Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

The BRILONER Model 4075-054 pendant lamp is operated via a standard wall switch connected to its electrical circuit.

  • Turning On/Off: Flip the wall switch to turn the lamp on or off.
  • Height Adjustment: If further height adjustment is needed after initial installation, ensure power is disconnected before making adjustments to the suspension cables as described in the Setup section.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning:

Always disconnect power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the metal and wood surfaces. For the fabric shades, gently dust with a soft brush or a dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the finish or fabric.

  • Bulb Replacement:

Ensure the lamp is turned off and has cooled down before attempting to replace bulbs. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E14 base bulb (max 25W). Do not touch new halogen bulbs with bare hands, as oils can shorten their lifespan.

  • Periodic Checks:

Periodically check all connections and mounting points to ensure they remain secure. If any damage is observed, disconnect power and consult a qualified technician.
