5.2 Wiring and Electrical Connections
The outdoor control box includes an integrated 12V transformer, eliminating the need for a separate transformer. Connect the 120V supply to the control box as shown in the diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure and waterproof.

5.3 Light Installation
- Ensure power to the pool light circuit is OFF at the main breaker.
- Remove your existing pool light fixture from the wet niche.
- Carefully pull the old light's cable through the conduit. If replacing, attach the new light's cable to the old one to assist in pulling it through.
- Feed the new Poolexa light cable through the conduit to the junction box/control box location.
- Coil approximately 4 feet of the light cable around the fixture before seating it into the niche. This slack is crucial for future servicing.
- Secure the light fixture into the wet niche using the existing screw hole. The adjustable retainer tab on the back of the light helps ensure a snug fit.
