4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your VIJIM VL100C LED video light:

1. Attach the Ballhead: Screw the included ballhead into the 1/4-inch screw hole at the bottom of the VL100C light. Ensure it is securely tightened.
2. Mount to Camera/Tripod: Slide the hot shoe adapter of the ballhead into your camera's hot shoe mount or screw it onto a tripod/light stand using the 1/4-inch thread.
3. Adjust Angle: Use the ballhead to adjust the lighting angle as needed.
4. Add Accessories (Optional): Utilize the 4 cold shoe mounts on the sides of the VL100C to attach additional accessories such as microphones or other lights.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your VIJIM VL100C:

1. Power On/Off: Locate the power button on the back of the unit. Slide the button to turn the light on or off.
2. Adjust Brightness: Use the 'DIM' pulsator (typically on one side) to adjust the brightness level. Slide it up or down to increase or decrease the light intensity.
3. Adjust Color Temperature: Use the 'CT' pulsator (typically on the opposite side) to adjust the color temperature. Slide it to switch between warm (2500K) and cold (6500K) light, or a mixed setting.
4. Battery Indicator: The LED indicators on the back of the unit show the remaining battery life.

6. Charging the Device

The VL100C features a built-in 2000mAh rechargeable lithium battery. To charge the device:

1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the Type-C port on the side of the light.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
3. The battery indicator LEDs on the back will illuminate to show charging status.
4. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours. The light can be used while charging.
