Follow these steps carefully for a secure and successful installation of your BONTEC TV Wall Mount. A video guide is also available for visual assistance.
Video 1: Official BONTEC Installation Guide for Full Motion TV Monitor Wall Mount. This video provides a step-by-step visual walkthrough of the entire installation process.
Step 1: Assemble the TV Plate
Attach the two vertical arms to the central TV plate using the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure they are securely fastened.
Step 2: Mount the Wall Plate
Determine your wall type (brick, concrete, or wood studs) and follow the appropriate instructions.
- For Brick or Concrete Walls:
- Position the wall plate on the desired location and mark the drill holes. Use a spirit level to ensure it's perfectly horizontal.
- Drill holes using a 0.4-inch (10mm) drill bit.
- Insert the concrete anchors into the drilled holes. Tap gently with a hammer if needed.
- Align the wall plate with the anchors and secure it using the appropriate screws and washers.
- For Wood Stud Walls:
- Use a stud finder to locate the center of your wood studs. Mark the drill holes, ensuring they align with the wall plate's mounting holes and are level.
- Drill pilot holes using a 0.2-inch (5mm) drill bit.
- Align the wall plate with the pilot holes and secure it using the appropriate self-tapping screws and washers.
Step 3: Install VESA Plate to the back of TV
Attach the assembled TV plate (from Step 1) to the back of your TV. Select the correct screws and spacers that fit your TV's VESA mounting holes. For curved TVs, use the appropriate spacers to ensure a flat mounting surface.
Step 4: Final Installation - Hang your TV to the Brackets and Lock it
Carefully lift your TV with the attached TV plate and hook it onto the wall plate. Ensure the hooks are properly seated. Once hung, tighten the security screws located at the bottom of the TV plate to prevent accidental dislodging.
Step 5: Level Adjustment
After hanging the TV, you can make fine adjustments to ensure it is perfectly level. Use the built-in level adjustment screws on the TV plate to rotate the TV slightly left or right (±3° rotation adjustment).

- Level Rotation: Fine-tune the horizontal level of your TV by rotating it ±3° using the level adjustment screws on the TV plate.

5. Maintenance
To ensure long-term performance and safety of your TV wall mount, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Check all screws and connections periodically (at least every three months) to ensure they remain tight.
- Clean the mount surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure that no cables are pinched or damaged during movement of the TV. Use the provided cable ties for tidy management.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TV wall mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- TV is not level: Use the level adjustment screws (Step 5 of Setup) to fine-tune the rotation. Ensure the wall plate was installed level initially.
- Difficulty moving the TV (swivel/tilt): Check if any screws on the articulating arms or tilt mechanism are overtightened. Loosen them slightly if necessary. Ensure cables are not obstructing movement.
- Mount feels unstable: Re-check all wall mounting screws and TV attachment screws to ensure they are securely tightened. Verify that the wall type is appropriate and that the mount is installed into studs or solid concrete/brick as per instructions. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 132 lbs (60 kg).
- Missing parts: Refer to the Package Contents section. If any parts are missing, contact BONTEC customer service for assistance.
