3.1 Control Panel

- On/Off Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- WiFi Indicator: Shows the status of the WiFi connection.

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Remove all protective plastic films and packaging materials.
4.2 Filter Installation
The DustMagnet 5410i uses two ComboFilters. Ensure they are correctly installed for optimal performance.
- Locate the filter compartments, typically at the bottom of the unit.
- Open the filter compartment covers.
- Insert the ComboFilters. Ensure the arrows on the filters point inwards, towards the center of the unit.
- Close the filter compartment covers securely.
4.3 Placement
For best results, place the air purifier in a location where it can effectively circulate air throughout the room.
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clear space around the air inlet and outlet.
- Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture that could obstruct airflow.
4.4 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
4.5 App Connection (Optional)
To unlock advanced features and remote control, connect your air purifier to the Blueair app.
- Download the "Blueair" app from your smartphone's app store (available on App Store and Google Play).
- Follow the in-app instructions to pair your DustMagnet 5410i with your device.
- The app allows for real-time tracking of air quality, remote control, scheduling, and integration with smart home systems like Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the On/Off button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.
5.2 Fan Speed Adjustment
Press the Fan Speed button repeatedly to cycle through the three available fan speeds (1, 2, 3). The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate.
5.3 Auto Mode
Activate Auto Mode by pressing its dedicated button. In this mode, the air purifier automatically adjusts the fan speed based on real-time air quality detected by its sensors.
5.4 Night Mode
Press the Night Mode button to engage a quieter operation setting. In Night Mode, the fan speed is lowered, and LED indicators are dimmed for an undisturbed environment.

5.5 Clean Air Delivery

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your air purifier. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Filter Replacement
The filter replacement warning indicator on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to replace the ComboFilters. Typically, filters should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
- Open the filter compartment covers.
- Remove the old filters and dispose of them responsibly.
- Insert new genuine BLUEAIR ComboFilters, ensuring the arrows on the filters point inwards.
- Close the filter compartment covers.
- Plug in the air purifier. The filter warning light should reset automatically. If not, consult the troubleshooting section or the Blueair app.
6.2 Pre-filter Cleaning
The DustMagnet 5410i features stainless steel pre-filters that attract larger dust particles. These should be cleaned regularly.
- Unplug the unit.
- Gently wipe the stainless steel pre-filters with a soft, dry cloth or use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove accumulated dust.
- Do not use water or liquid cleaners on the pre-filters.
6.3 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
