• Always remove the battery pack when not in use or before performing any maintenance.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

This inflator operates with a 24-Volt IONMAX lithium-ion battery (sold separately). Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

1. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the base of the inflator handle.
2. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove the battery, press the battery release button and pull the battery pack out.

Operating Instructions

1. Attaching Nozzle Adapters

The inflator comes with three tethered nozzle adapters (0.17", 0.19", and 0.5") to accommodate various valve sizes. Select the appropriate adapter for the item you wish to inflate or deflate.

• For inflation, attach the desired adapter to the inflation port located at the front of the tool.
• For deflation, attach the desired adapter to the deflation port located at the top rear of the tool.

2. Inflation Operation

1. Ensure the battery is securely installed.
2. Attach the correct nozzle adapter to the inflation port.
3. Insert the adapter firmly into the valve of the item to be inflated.
4. Press and hold the trigger to begin inflation.
5. Release the trigger to stop inflation. Monitor the item to prevent over-inflation.

3. Deflation Operation

The 2-in-1 design allows for rapid deflation, making it easy to pack away inflatable items.

1. Ensure the battery is securely installed.
2. Attach the correct nozzle adapter to the deflation port (top rear of the tool).
3. Insert the adapter firmly into the valve of the item to be deflated.
4. Press and hold the trigger to begin deflation.
5. Release the trigger to stop deflation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your inflator.

• Cleaning: After each use, wipe the exterior of the inflator with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: Store the inflator in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the battery is removed before storage.
• Battery Care: Follow the instructions provided with your Sun Joe IONMAX battery and charger for proper charging and storage to maximize battery life.
• Nozzles: Keep the nozzle adapters clean and free from debris to ensure efficient airflow.
