Setup and Installation
Amplifier Rack Mounting
The RCS180-6 amplifier is 19-inch rack mountable. Attach the included rack ears to the sides of the amplifier using the provided screws. Handles can also be attached to the rack ears for easier handling and installation into a rack bag or rack mount.
70V Speaker Wiring Principles
70V systems allow for running numerous speakers off a single amplifier by matching the total wattage drawn by the speakers to the amplifier's capability. Each 70V speaker has a built-in transformer (tap) that pulls a fixed amount of wattage. The CC525T speakers can be tapped at 20W, 15W, 10W, 5W, or 2.5W. The total wattage of all speakers connected to a single zone should not exceed the zone's maximum wattage (100W per zone for RCS180-6) and the total wattage of all speakers across all zones should not exceed the amplifier's total output (180W for RCS180-6).
Connecting Speakers to the Amplifier
Speakers are connected in parallel. This means connecting the positive (+) terminal of one speaker to the positive (+) terminal of the next speaker, and the negative (-) terminal of one speaker to the negative (-) terminal of the next speaker, and so on, until the last speaker is connected to the amplifier.

Figure 2: Amplifier Rear Panel with Speaker Zone Outputs.
The RCS180-6 amplifier features six speaker zone outputs (ZONE 1 to ZONE 6) using detachable Euro-block terminals. Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) wires from your speaker chain to the corresponding terminals for each desired zone. Ensure all connections are secure.

Figure 3: CC525T Speaker Rear Wiring with Tap Selector.
The CC525T speakers have a tap selector on the rear. Adjust this selector to the desired wattage (2.5W, 5W, 10W, 15W, 20W) or to 8 Ohms for traditional setups. Ensure the total wattage per zone does not exceed 100W and the total for the amplifier does not exceed 180W.
Optional Wall Control Switches
For convenient volume control within specific zones, wall control switches can be integrated. Wire from one zone output of the amplifier into the wall control switch, and then from the wall control switch to your speakers. This allows for localized volume adjustment without needing to access the amplifier directly.
