2. What's Included

3. Compatibility
The Godox SA-17 Adapter is designed for use with Godox Bowens Mount LED Continuous Lights. It is compatible with a wide range of models, allowing these lights to integrate with the Godox SA-P Projection Attachment system.

4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Attaching the SA-17 Adapter to a Bowens Mount Light
- Ensure your Godox LED Continuous Light is powered off and cooled down.
- Align the Bowens mount of the SA-17 adapter with the Bowens mount on your LED light.
- Insert the adapter and rotate it clockwise until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the release button on the LED light's Bowens mount and rotate the adapter counter-clockwise.

4.2. Installing SA-P Projection Attachments and Accessories
The SA-17 adapter is designed to hold various SA-P accessories (sold separately) to create specific lighting effects.
- Projection Lens: Insert the desired projection lens into the front of the SA-17 adapter. Secure it by tightening the locking mechanism.
- Gobos (Go-Between-Opticals): Gobos are metal discs with cut-out patterns. Insert a gobo into the designated slot within the projection attachment.
- Iris Diaphragm (SA-06): Used to adjust the size of the projected light circle. Insert the iris into its slot and use the lever to control the aperture.
- Framing Shutter (SA-07): Features four adjustable blades to shape the light beam into various geometric forms (e.g., trapezoids, rectangles, triangles).
- Scrim Set (SA-05): Used to reduce light intensity or soften the beam gradation.
- Color Gels (SA-11C/SA-11T): Insert color gels into the filter slot to change the color of the projected light for creative effects or color correction.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Adjusting Light Patterns and Focus
- Once the SA-17 adapter and desired projection attachment are installed, power on your Godox LED Continuous Light.
- Direct the light towards a background or subject.
- Adjust the focus ring on the projection lens to achieve a sharp or soft edge for your projected pattern.
- If using a gobo, iris, or framing shutter, manipulate these accessories to achieve the desired shape, size, and effect of the light pattern.

6. Maintenance

- Ensure the projection lens is correctly installed and securely tightened.
- Rotate the focus ring on the projection lens to adjust the sharpness of the pattern.
- Check the distance between the light and the projection surface; optimal focus may vary with distance.
7.2. Adapter Not Attaching Securely
- Verify that the Bowens mount on your LED light is clean and free from obstructions.
- Ensure the SA-17 adapter's Bowens mount is properly aligned before rotating clockwise.
