Operating Instructions
The XLC MTN SP-T10 allows for quick saddle height adjustment while riding.
Adjusting Saddle Height
- To lower the saddle: While seated on the saddle, press the remote lever. The saddle will compress under your weight. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
- To raise the saddle: With your weight off the saddle, press the remote lever. The saddle will extend to its maximum height. Release the lever to lock it at any point during extension.
The seat post offers 80 mm (+/- 5 mm) of height adjustment, depending on the shaft length.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your seat post.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the exposed shaft of the seat post with a clean, damp cloth after each ride, especially in dirty or wet conditions.
- Lubrication: Apply a small amount of appropriate suspension lubricant to the exposed shaft and seals periodically. Avoid using harsh degreasers or solvents.
- Cable Inspection: Check the remote cable and housing for fraying, kinks, or corrosion. Replace if necessary to ensure smooth operation.
- Bolt Torque: Periodically check the torque of the saddle clamp bolts and seat post clamp bolt to ensure they are tightened to specifications.
- Professional Service: For internal service or complex repairs, it is recommended to consult an authorized XLC service center or a qualified bicycle mechanic.
Troubleshooting
