Setup
1. Battery Installation:
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the receiver. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.
2. Attaching the Clamp:
The receiver comes with a powerful clamp for secure attachment to a measuring staff or other suitable surface.
- Align the receiver with the clamp's mounting slot.
- Slide the receiver onto the clamp until it clicks into place or is firmly secured.
- Tighten any adjustment screws on the clamp to ensure stability.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off:
Press the Power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) to turn the receiver on. Press and hold the same button to turn it off.
2. Detecting the Laser Beam:
Hold the receiver with the receiving window facing the rotating laser beam. Move the receiver up or down until the laser beam is detected. The display will show the deviation from the laser plane, and acoustic signals will guide you.

3. Interpreting the Display:
- The digital display shows the exact distance in millimeters (or inches) from the center of the receiving window to the laser beam.
- Arrows on the display indicate whether to move the receiver up or down to reach the laser plane.
- When the laser beam is centered, a solid line or specific indicator will appear, and a continuous tone will sound (if audio is enabled).
4. Adjusting Accuracy Settings:
Press the SET button to cycle through the four available accuracy settings. Choose a coarser setting for quick checks and a finer setting for precise leveling tasks.
5. Acoustic Signals:
Press the Speaker button to toggle the acoustic signals on or off. The tones will change frequency as you approach the laser plane, becoming continuous when centered.
6. Unit Conversion (MM/IN):
Press the MM/IN button to switch between millimeter and inch display units.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the receiver with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the receiving window clean for optimal performance.
Storage:
When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the device in its original packaging or a protective case in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.
Troubleshooting
