1.2 App Installation and Pairing
Download the Bose Sleep app from your device's app store (available for iOS and Android). Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your Sleepbuds II. The app is essential for controlling sounds, setting alarms, and accessing features.

1.3 Selecting the Right Eartips
The Sleepbuds II come with three sizes of soft silicone eartips. Choose the size that provides a snug and comfortable fit in your ear canal to ensure optimal noise-masking performance and comfort throughout the night. A pliable fin should fit snugly in the ridge of your ear, and an umbrella shape should gently seal off your ear canal.

2. Operating Your Sleepbuds II
2.1 Playing Sounds
Use the Bose Sleep app to select from a library of relaxing and noise-masking sounds. These sounds are specifically engineered to cover common nighttime disturbances like snoring, traffic, and conversations. Download your preferred sounds directly to the earbuds for offline use.

2.2 Phone-Free Mode
For uninterrupted sleep without your phone nearby, activate Phone-free Mode in the app. This allows you to program your settings and sounds in advance, so the Sleepbuds will play your chosen content automatically when removed from the charging case, without needing to be connected to your phone.
2.3 Setting Alarms
The Bose Sleep app allows you to set a personal alarm that only you will hear through the earbuds. This feature ensures you wake up without disturbing a partner.
2.4 Comfort During Sleep
The Sleepbuds II are designed to be comfortable for all sleeping positions. Their tiny, lightweight design and soft eartips ensure they stay securely in place whether you sleep on your back, side, or tend to toss and turn.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean your Sleepbuds II and eartips to maintain hygiene and performance. Gently wipe the earbuds with a soft, dry cloth. Remove the silicone eartips and wash them with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.
3.2 Battery Care
The Sleepbuds II provide up to 10 hours of battery life per charge. The charging case offers up to three additional full charges. To prolong battery life, store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use and avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Connectivity Issues
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Make sure the Sleepbuds II are within range of your device.
- Restart the Bose Sleep app and your device.
- If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing the Sleepbuds II through the app.
4.2 Sound Quality or Volume Problems
- Verify that the eartips are correctly sized and properly seated in your ears. An improper fit can affect sound quality and noise-masking.
- Adjust the volume within the Bose Sleep app.
- Ensure the earbuds are clean and free from debris.
4.3 Charging Problems
- Check that the USB cable is securely connected to both the charging case and a power source.
- Ensure the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean and dry.
- Confirm that the charging case itself has sufficient power (check indicator lights).
