1. Product Overview

The novita Humidifier NH890 utilizes ultrasonic technology to improve indoor air quality by increasing humidity levels. This unit is designed for ease of use and features a minimalist design to complement various interior spaces. It is suitable for use with novita Air Purifying Solution Concentrate to enhance air purification.

The NH890 offers both warm mist (up to 80°C) and cool mist (room temperature) humidification methods, with adjustable mist volume control. Safety features include a water shortage indicator and an auto-off mechanism when water levels are low. The screen luminosity can also be adjusted for comfort.

2. Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface at least 15 cm away from walls and appliances.
• Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
• Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning, filling, or moving it.
• Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug.

4. Setup Guide

3. Fill Water Tank:
   • Remove the water tank from the base.
   • Unscrew the water tank cap.
   • Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended. Do not overfill.
   • Securely screw the cap back onto the tank.
   • Place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220 Volts).

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the humidifier on or off.
2. Mist Volume Control: Cycle through the 3 mist volume settings by pressing the mist control button.
3. Mist Type Selection: Select between warm mist (heat vaporizing) and cool mist (ultrasonic) modes using the dedicated button. The warm mist can reach up to 80°C.
4. Screen Luminosity: To dim the display indicator, tap and hold the power control button. Repeat to restore brightness.
5. Water Shortage: The unit will indicate when water levels are low and will automatically shut off to prevent damage. Refill the water tank as per the "Setup Guide" section.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

6.1 Daily Maintenance

• Empty and rinse the water tank and water basin daily.
• Wipe down any wet surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.

6.2 Weekly Maintenance

• Descaling:
  • Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water.
  • Pour the solution into the water basin and let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
  • Gently scrub the basin and ultrasonic transducer with a soft brush to remove mineral deposits.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
• Cleaning the Water Tank:
  • Add a small amount of the vinegar solution to the water tank and shake gently.
  • Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

When not in use for an extended period, clean the unit thoroughly, ensure all parts are dry, and store it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
