Operating Instructions

The Stariver Electric Hot Pot is designed for simple operation. Follow these steps for cooking:

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients and water into the stainless steel interior pot. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (if present) or overfill to prevent boiling over. The capacity is 2.0 Liters.
  2. Secure Lid: Place the glass lid securely on top of the pot.
  3. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC electrical outlet. The appliance will begin heating automatically.
  4. Cooking Process: The 300-watt heating element will quickly bring the contents to a boil. The appliance is designed to maintain a consistent temperature.
  5. Automatic Keep Warm: Once the contents reach boiling point, the appliance will automatically switch to a "keep warm" function, maintaining the food temperature without continuous boiling. This function will cycle on and off as needed.
  6. Boil Dry Protection: The hot pot is equipped with boil-dry protection. If the water level becomes too low or the pot runs dry, the appliance will automatically shut off to prevent damage and ensure safety.
  7. Overheat Protection: In case of excessive temperature, the overheat protection will activate, shutting down the unit to prevent damage.
  8. Serving: Once cooking is complete, carefully unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. Use the cool-touch handle to safely transport the pot. Exercise caution as contents will be hot.

Cooking Suggestions:

  • Noodles/Pasta: Add water and bring to a boil. Add noodles/pasta and cook until desired tenderness.
  • Eggs: Place eggs in the pot with enough water to cover them. Cook to desired doneness (soft, medium, or hard-boiled).
  • Soup/Porridge: Add ingredients and water. Allow to simmer until cooked through. The keep warm function will maintain serving temperature.

  2. Cleaning the Interior: The stainless steel interior pot can be hand washed with warm soapy water. Use a soft sponge or cloth to avoid scratching the surface. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
