Setup
1. Power Connection
- Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
2. Initial Setup and DAB+ Scan
- Upon first power-on, the unit will automatically perform a full scan for DAB+ radio stations. This process may take a few minutes.
- The clock will automatically synchronize its time and date information from the DAB+ signal once stations are found.
- Ensure the antenna is fully extended for optimal reception during the scan.
Operating Instructions
1. Radio Operation (DAB+/FM)
- Switching Modes: Press the MODE button to switch between DAB+ and FM radio.
- DAB+ Tuning: After the initial scan, use the TUNING +/- buttons to navigate through available DAB+ stations. Press SELECT to confirm.
- FM Tuning: In FM mode, use the TUNING +/- buttons to manually tune to a frequency. Press SCAN to auto-scan for the next available station.
- Saving Presets: Tune to your desired station. Press and hold the PRESET button. Use TUNING +/- to select a preset number (1-20), then press SELECT to save.
- Recalling Presets: Press the PRESET button briefly, then use TUNING +/- to select your desired preset station and press SELECT.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the VOLUME +/- buttons to adjust the listening volume.
2. Setting Alarms
The unit features two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- In standby mode, press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button.
- Use TUNING +/- to set the alarm hour, then press SELECT.
- Repeat for minutes, then press SELECT.
- Select alarm source (Buzzer, DAB+, or FM) using TUNING +/-, then press SELECT.
- Select alarm frequency (Daily, Weekdays, Weekends) using TUNING +/-, then press SELECT.
- Adjust alarm volume using TUNING +/-, then press SELECT to confirm and activate the alarm.
- An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
3. Snooze and Sleep Function
- Snooze: When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to temporarily silence it. The alarm will sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
- Sleep Function: While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, OFF). The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.
4. Display Brightness
The display brightness can typically be adjusted by pressing a dedicated button (often labeled 'DIMMER' or integrated with another function) or through the menu settings. Refer to the specific button layout on your device for this function.
