General Safety

- Ensure the engine is off and the spark plug cap is removed before performing any maintenance or clearing blockages.

- Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Avoid smoking during refueling.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Unfold the handle and secure it using the provided quick-release levers or bolts. Ensure the handle is firmly locked in place.
- Attach the grass collection bag according to the instructions in the manual.
- Check all fasteners for tightness before first use.

3.2 Fuel and Oil Filling
The lawnmower is shipped without fuel or engine oil. It is crucial to fill both before starting the engine.
- Engine Oil: Fill with recommended 4-stroke engine oil (e.g., SAE 30) to the appropriate level indicated on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
- Fuel: Fill the fuel tank with unleaded gasoline. Do not use E85 or other ethanol blends not approved for small engines.
- Always refuel in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from open flames or sparks.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting the Engine
- Ensure the spark plug cap is securely attached.
- Press the primer bulb 3-5 times (if equipped) until fuel is visible in the bulb.
- Move the throttle lever to the 'START' or 'CHOKE' position.
- Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine runs smoothly, move the throttle lever to the 'RUN' position.
4.2 Adjusting Cutting Height
The cutting height can be adjusted centrally using a single lever.
- Ensure the engine is off before adjusting the cutting height.
- Locate the central height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
- Move the lever to select one of the 7 available cutting height settings (25-75 mm).

4.3 Mowing Techniques
- For best results, mow when the grass is dry.
- Overlap each cutting pass slightly to ensure even coverage.
- Avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time.
- Empty the grass collection bag regularly to maintain optimal performance.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lawnmower.
5.1 Cleaning
- After each use, clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup.
- The integrated water connection allows for quick and easy cleaning of the steel housing. Attach a garden hose, turn on the water, and start the engine briefly to clean the deck.
- Clean the exterior of the engine and housing with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure washers directly on the engine.

5.2 Blade Care
- Regularly inspect the cutting blade for sharpness and damage.
- A dull or damaged blade can lead to poor cutting performance and increased engine strain.
- Have the blade sharpened or replaced by a qualified service technician.
5.3 Engine Maintenance
- Check the engine oil level before each use and top up if necessary.
- Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 25 hours or annually.
- Clean or replace the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions.
- Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically. Replace if worn or fouled.
