1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Peg Perego Gaucho XP Electric Off-Road Vehicle. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your vehicle. Please read it thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference. This vehicle is designed for children aged 3 years and older, with a maximum weight capacity of 60 kg.

2. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Peg Perego Gaucho XP is required. Follow the detailed instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your product. Ensure all components are securely fastened before initial use.

2.1. Battery Charging

The 24V/8Ah/200Wh battery is included. Before first use, fully charge the battery for at least 18 hours, but no more than 24 hours. Subsequent charges should be 10-12 hours. The battery can be recharged directly in the vehicle or by removing it and using the included charger. Always use the original Peg Perego charger.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Starting and Driving

To start the vehicle, ensure the battery is connected and fully charged. The vehicle features two forward speeds (4 km/h and 8 km/h) and one reverse speed. The higher speed (8 km/h) can be locked for younger drivers for added safety.

3.2. Pedal Operation

The vehicle uses a single pedal for both acceleration and braking. Press the pedal to accelerate. Releasing the pedal will automatically engage a smooth braking action, bringing the vehicle to a stop.

3.3. Features

  • LED Lights: Real LED lights automatically turn on when the vehicle starts and turn off automatically.
  • Multifunction FM Radio: Includes 4 pre-recorded melodies, FM radio functionality, MP3 input, micro SD slot, and USB port.
  • Adjustable Seats: Independent and adjustable seats with soft faux leather and fabric covers, equipped with independent adjustable seat belts.
  • Toolbox: A functional toolbox is integrated, containing a hammer, ratchet, wrench, and dual-purpose screwdriver for imaginative play.

3.4. Off-Road Capability

The Gaucho XP is designed for off-road adventures with treaded tires, high ground clearance, and shock absorbers. It can handle dirt paths and difficult terrains, including slopes up to 17%.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Battery Care

  • Always recharge the battery after each use.
  • Do not allow the battery to fully discharge.
  • If storing the vehicle for an extended period, fully charge the battery and then recharge it every three months to maintain its lifespan.
  • The average battery life is approximately 5 hours of continuous use, depending on terrain and driving style.

4.2. Cleaning and Storage

Clean the vehicle with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the vehicle in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
