3. Installation Instructions

• Tape Measure
• Drywall Saw or Hole Saw
• Wire Strippers

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Turn Off Power: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
2. Cut Hole in Ceiling: Use the provided template or measure a 6.25-inch diameter hole in the desired ceiling location. Ensure there are no obstructions (joists, pipes, wires) behind the cutting area.
3. Open Junction Box: Remove the knockout on the side plate of the junction box.
4. Connect Wiring: Feed the electrical supply cable through the knockout hole. Connect the supply wires to the junction box wires using the provided wire nuts: black to black (live), white to white (neutral), and green/bare copper to green (ground). Secure all connections.
5. Close Junction Box: Place all wiring and connections back into the junction box and close the cover securely.
6. Insert Junction Box: Push the junction box through the cut-out hole in the ceiling.
7. Connect Downlight: Connect the male/female connectors from the downlight to the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
8. Install Downlight: Push the spring-loaded clips on the downlight upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. The clips will automatically secure the fixture in place.
9. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the light fixture.
