2. Setup
Initial Setup:
To ensure battery life during shipping, your Timex watch arrives with a crown guard. Follow these steps to activate your watch:
- Carefully remove the plastic crown guard located between the watch crown (the small knob on the side) and the watch case.
- Once the crown guard is removed, firmly push the crown inwards towards the watch case until it clicks into place. The second hand should begin to move, indicating the watch is now active.

3. Operating Instructions
Setting the Time:
- Pull the crown outwards to the time-setting position.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position to restart the watch.
Using Indiglo Night-Light:
The Indiglo night-light illuminates the watch dial for easy reading in low-light conditions.
- To activate the Indiglo night-light, simply press and hold the crown. The dial will illuminate.
- Release the crown to turn off the light.
Water Resistance:
Your Timex watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This means it is suitable for splashes or brief immersion in water, but it is not designed for swimming, bathing, or diving. To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons under water.

Cleaning Your Watch:
