Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the clock, gently wipe the display and frame with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the surface or electronic components.
Battery Backup
The clock includes an internal charger battery designed to maintain settings during brief power interruptions. If the clock is unplugged for an extended period, or if the internal battery's charge depletes, you may need to re-enter your city and time settings upon reconnection to power.
Troubleshooting
- Clock not displaying or powering on:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the clock and a working electrical outlet. Verify the outlet is receiving power.
- Incorrect prayer times:
- Check if the correct city is selected. If your exact city is not listed, use the prayer time adjustment feature to fine-tune the times for your location. Ensure the Hijri/Gregorian calendar is set correctly if applicable.
- Azan sound is too low or too high:
- Use the volume control buttons on the clock or remote control to adjust the sound level.
- Settings are lost after power outage:
- While the clock has a backup battery, prolonged power outages or a depleted backup battery may cause settings to reset. Re-enter your city and time settings as per the "Operating Instructions".
