Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories (lights, radio, AC) are turned off. Engage the parking brake.
  2. Connect the Smart Battery Clip:
    • Connect the red (+) clamp of the smart battery clip to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's dead battery.
    • Connect the black (-) clamp of the smart battery clip to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's dead battery.
    • Ensure a secure connection to both terminals.
  3. Connect to Jump Starter: Plug the smart battery clip connector into the jump start port on the 70mai Jump Starter MAX. The indicator on the smart clip should show a green light, indicating a correct connection and readiness to jump start. If a red light or no light appears, check connections and battery status.
  4. Start the Vehicle: Once the smart clip indicates readiness, start your vehicle's engine. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait 30 seconds before attempting again. Do not crank the engine for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
  5. Disconnect: As soon as the vehicle starts, disconnect the smart battery clip from the 70mai Jump Starter MAX. Then, remove the black (-) clamp from the vehicle battery, followed by the red (+) clamp.
