5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Sensor: Keep the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse clean and free from dust or debris to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a dry, cool place. Consider removing the AA battery if storing for several months to prevent potential leakage.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. No Connectivity

  • Ensure the USB nano receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  • Verify the mouse is powered on using the switch on its underside.
  • Check the battery. Replace it if the low battery indicator is active or if the mouse does not power on.
  • Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port or a different computer to isolate the issue.

6.2. Erratic Cursor Movement

  • Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. Highly reflective or transparent surfaces may cause issues. A mouse pad is recommended.
  • Check for interference from other wireless devices. Try moving the receiver closer to the mouse using a USB extension cable if necessary.

6.3. Buttons Not Responding

  • Ensure the Logitech G HUB software is installed and updated. Check button assignments within the software.
  • Reinstall the mouse drivers or restart your computer.
