2. Safety Information

  • Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 50 pounds (22.7 kg) on the main desktop and 35 pounds (15.9 kg) on the monitor shelf and CPU stand. Overloading can cause instability and damage.
  • Assembly: It is recommended that two people assemble this desk to ensure safety and ease of construction.
  • Stability: Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.
  • Movement: Always unlock the casters before moving the desk. Exercise caution when moving the desk, especially when it is loaded with equipment. Lock casters when the desk is in its desired position.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your EUREKA ERGONOMIC Mobile Height Adjustable Standing Desk. An Allen wrench is provided for assembly.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Assemble Base Frame: Attach the horizontal support bars to the vertical leg frames using the provided bolts. Ensure all connections are snug but do not fully tighten until all parts are aligned.
  3. Attach Casters: Insert the casters into the designated holes at the bottom of the leg frames. Ensure the locking casters are positioned as desired.
  4. Connect Desktop: Secure the desktop to the assembled frame using the appropriate hardware.
  5. Install Monitor Shelf: Attach the monitor shelf to the main desktop using the provided supports and hardware.
  6. Install CPU Stand: Position and secure the CPU stand to the lower frame as indicated in the instructions.
  7. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all bolts.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Height Adjustment

The desk offers 16 adjustable height positions, ranging from 28.2 inches to 43.2 inches. To adjust the height:

  1. Clear the Desktop: For safety and ease, remove all items from the desktop and monitor shelf.
  2. Lay Desk on Side: Carefully lay the desk on its side.
  3. Loosen Rotary Lock Knobs: Locate the rotary lock knobs on the vertical leg frames. Turn them counter-clockwise to loosen.
  4. Adjust Height: Slide the desktop to your desired height setting. The legs have pre-drilled holes for the 16 positions.
  5. Tighten Knobs: Once the desired height is achieved, tighten the rotary lock knobs clockwise until secure.
  6. Return to Upright Position: Carefully return the desk to its upright position.

5.2 Mobility

The desk is equipped with four 360° pulleys, including two high-quality lockable casters, allowing for easy movement and secure placement.

  • To Move: Ensure the locking casters are in the unlocked position. Gently push or pull the desk to its new location.
  • To Secure: Once the desk is in the desired position, press down on the locking mechanism of the two lockable casters to prevent unintended movement.

6. Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting

  • Difficulty Adjusting Height:
    Solution: Make sure the rotary lock knobs are completely loosened. It is recommended to remove all items from the desktop and lay the desk on its side for easier adjustment.
  • Casters Not Rolling Smoothly:
    Solution: Check for any debris (hair, dust) caught in the caster wheels and remove it. Ensure the casters are unlocked.
