Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your electric oven:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers.
  2. Placement: Place the oven on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the oven (at least 10-15 cm clearance on all sides and top) to allow for proper heat dissipation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Wash the baking tray, grill rack, and tray handle in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. First Use (Burn-Off): It is normal for a new oven to produce a slight odor and some smoke during its first use. To minimize this, operate the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes at the maximum temperature setting (250°C) with the function selector set to 'Upper and Lower Heating'. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
  5. Power Connection: Ensure the oven is unplugged before placing accessories inside. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
