6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
Filter Maintenance:
- Cartridge Filter: For dry pickup, regularly clean the cartridge filter by tapping it gently to dislodge dust or rinsing it with water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation. Replace when damaged or excessively dirty.
- Foam Wet Filter: For wet pickup, rinse the foam filter with water after each use and allow it to air dry.
- HEPA Exhaust Filter: The HEPA material exhaust filter helps ensure dust and allergens are filtered from the air. Check periodically and replace as needed.

Tank Cleaning:
Empty the 4-gallon polypropylene tank regularly, especially after wet pickup, to prevent odors and maintain hygiene. The tank size refers to the actual tank volume and does not reflect the capacity available during operation.
Accessory Storage:
Utilize the on-board hose and accessory storage to keep all attachments organized and readily accessible.

7. Troubleshooting
If your vacuum cleaner is not operating correctly, consult the following common issues before seeking professional service.
Common Issues:
- No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Reduced Suction: Verify that the hose and attachments are free from blockages. Check if the filters are clean and properly installed. For wet pickup, ensure the foam filter is not clogged. For dry pickup, ensure the cartridge filter is clean and the dust bag (if used) is not full.
- Automatic Cord Rewind Malfunction: If the cord does not retract smoothly, gently pull out a small section of the cord and press the rewind button again. Ensure the cord is not tangled or obstructed.
- Water Shut-off during Wet Pickup: This is a normal function. The float mechanism automatically shuts off suction when the tank is full to prevent overflow. Empty the tank and resume operation.
