Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your appliance, follow these basic precautions:

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if it malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• Do not overload the washing machine. Overloading can cause the agitator to rub, leading to noise and potential motor overheat protection activation.
• Ensure clothes are distributed evenly inside the washer to prevent imbalance and noise during operation.
• Place the washing machine on a flat, stable surface.
• Check that the drain hose is not bent or blocked by foreign objects, as this can cause noise and prevent proper spinning.

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your portable washing machine:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Placement: Place the washing machine on a firm, flat, and level surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for ventilation and operation. The compact design makes it suitable for various locations, including apartments, dorms, and RVs.

3. Connect Inlet Hose: Connect the provided inlet hose to the water inlet on the top panel of the washing machine. The other end of the hose can be connected to a water faucet. If the hose attachment does not fit your faucet, you may need to manually fill the wash tub using a bucket.
4. Position Drain Hose: Position the drain hose to direct wastewater into a sink, bucket, or drain. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or obstructed.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the machine's requirements (110 Volts).

Operating Instructions

Operating your Auertech Portable Washing Machine is straightforward. Follow these steps for washing and spinning your clothes:

1. Load Clothes: Open the lid of the wash tub and place your clothes inside. Do not overload the machine; the maximum wash capacity is 9 lbs. Distribute clothes evenly.
2. Add Water and Detergent: Add water to the wash tub through the water inlet until the water level covers the clothes. Add a small amount of detergent. A little detergent goes a long way; half a tablespoon is often sufficient.
3. Set Wash Timer: Turn the "Wash Timer" knob to your desired wash time (up to 15 minutes). The machine will begin washing.
4. Select Wash Mode: Use the "Drain Selector" switch to choose between "Normal" or "Soft" wash modes, or "Drain" when ready to empty the water.
5. Drain Water: Once the wash cycle is complete, turn the "Drain Selector" knob to "Drain" to empty the water from the wash tub.
6. Transfer to Spin Tub: Carefully transfer the washed clothes from the wash tub to the spin tub. Ensure clothes are evenly distributed in the spin tub to prevent imbalance. Place the spin cap on top of the clothes in the spin tub.
7. Set Spin Timer: Close the spin tub lid and turn the "Spin Timer" knob to your desired spin time (up to 5 minutes). The machine will begin spinning.
8. Remove Clothes: Once the spin cycle is complete, remove your clothes. They will be almost dry and ready for air drying.

Note: For a thorough rinse, you may add water to the wash tub and run a short wash cycle again after draining the initial wash water.
