5.8 Continuity Test

  1. Set the function dial to the Continuity symbol position.
  2. Connect the black test lead to COM and the red test lead to VΩmA.
  3. Connect the test probes across the circuit or component.
  4. If the resistance is below a certain threshold (typically 50Ω), the buzzer will sound, indicating continuity.

5.9 Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection

  1. Set the function dial to the NCV position.
