4. Product Overview

4.1 Parent Unit (Monitor)

The parent unit features a 4.3-inch LCD screen for clear video monitoring. It includes controls for volume, split-screen view, two-way audio, and menu navigation. The unit is equipped with a rechargeable battery for portable use.

4.2 Camera Unit

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Parent Unit

1. Connect the power adapter to the parent unit and a power outlet.
2. Charge the parent unit for at least 8 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery life. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

5.2 Camera Placement and Mounting

Place the camera unit in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the crib to prevent strangulation hazards from the power cord. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using the provided brackets.

5.3 Pairing Cameras (If Needed)

The cameras are typically pre-paired with the parent unit. If a camera loses connection or you are adding a new camera, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the camera unit is powered on.
2. On the parent unit, navigate to the menu and select the "Add Camera" option.
3. Press the "Pair" button on the back of the camera unit. The parent unit should then detect and pair with the camera.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• To power on the parent unit, press and hold the power button. Repeat to power off.
• Camera units power on automatically when connected to power.

6.2 Split Screen View

The monitor supports split-screen viewing, allowing you to see feeds from both cameras simultaneously. When in split-screen mode, only the audio from the currently selected camera will be heard. You can manually switch the audio source between cameras.

6.3 Two-Way Audio

Press and hold the talk button on the parent unit to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker. Release the button to hear your baby again.
