3. Setup

1. Connect Power: Plug the AC power adapter into a wall outlet and then connect the DC plug to the charger's input port (IN: 12V or AC 110-240V). The LCD display will light up.
2. Insert Batteries: Carefully insert one or more compatible rechargeable batteries into the charging slots. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery match the markings on the charger.

4. Operating Instructions

The Lii-PD4 charger features intelligent detection and charging capabilities:

• Automatic Detection: Upon inserting a battery, the charger will automatically detect the battery type (Li-ion, NiMH, etc.) and display its voltage.
• Charging Process: The charger will automatically begin charging. The LCD display will show the charging progress, current voltage, and charging current for each slot.
• Charging Current: The charger automatically selects the optimal charging current. For Lithium batteries, slot #4 can provide up to 2000mA when used alone. Other slots and battery types will use 1000mA or 500mA depending on the number of batteries and type.
• Completion: The charging process stops automatically when the battery is fully charged. The display will indicate full charge.

5. Battery Compatibility

The LiitoKala Lii-PD4 charger is compatible with a wide range of rechargeable batteries:

• Ni-MH/Cd Batteries: AA, AAA, A, SC, C Sizes.
• Li-ion/IMR/LiFePO4 Batteries: 26650, 20700, 18650, 18490, 17700, 17500, 16340 (RCR123), 14500, 10440.
• Voltage Compatibility: Supports 3.7V, 3.2V, 1.2V, and 1.5V batteries.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Handling: Handle the charger with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

• Charger not powering on: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the charger and the wall outlet. Verify the wall outlet has power.
• Battery not charging: Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the correct polarity. Ensure the battery is a compatible rechargeable type. The battery might be deeply discharged or damaged; try a different battery.
• Display error: If an error message appears, remove the battery, unplug the charger, wait a few moments, and then reconnect and reinsert the battery. If the error persists, the battery or charger may be faulty.
• Slow charging: Ensure the charger is receiving adequate power. The charging current may be lower if multiple batteries are charging simultaneously or if the battery type requires a lower current.
