The PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S is officially licensed by Xbox, designed to elevate your gaming experience. Setup
The PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller is designed for simple plug-and-play setup. No batteries or complex synchronization are required.
- Locate the USB port on your Xbox Series X|S console, Xbox One console, or Windows PC.
- Connect the detachable 10ft (3m) USB cable to the controller's micro-USB port (located on the top edge of the controller). Ensure a secure connection.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your console or PC.
- The controller will automatically power on and connect. The Xbox button on the controller will illuminate to indicate a successful connection.

Operating Instructions
Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGB)
The controller features two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons on the back, allowing for quick, on-the-fly programming to enhance your gameplay.

Mapping AGBs:
- Press and hold the Program Button (small button on the back, between the AGBs) for 3 seconds. The LED on the front of the controller will start flashing.
- Press the button you wish to map (e.g., A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, Left Stick Click, Right Stick Click, D-pad buttons).
- Press the Advanced Gaming Button (left or right paddle) you wish to map the function to. The LED will stop flashing, indicating successful mapping.
Clearing AGBs:
- Press and hold the Program Button for 3 seconds. The LED on the front of the controller will start flashing.
- Press the Advanced Gaming Button (left or right paddle) you wish to clear. The LED will stop flashing, indicating the mapping has been cleared.

Headset Dial and Mic Mute
The controller includes a standard 3.5mm stereo headset jack for in-game audio and chat. A convenient volume dial with one-touch mic mute is located on the front of the controller.
- Volume Control: Rotate the dial up or down to adjust headset volume.
- Mic Mute: Press the dial inward to mute or unmute your microphone. The LED indicator will change color to show mic status (e.g., red for muted).

Share Button
Easily capture and share your best gaming moments with the dedicated Share Button, located centrally on the controller.
- Press the Share Button to take a screenshot.
- Hold the Share Button to record a game clip.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the controller regularly. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no moisture enters the ports or crevices.
- Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the USB cable. When not in use, gently coil the cable and secure it with the included hook-and-loop closure.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller, try the following steps:
- Controller Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and the console/PC.
- Try plugging the controller into a different USB port on your console/PC.
- Restart your console or PC.
- Headset Audio Issues:
- Verify your headset is fully plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the controller.
- Check the volume dial on the controller and ensure it's not muted or set to minimum volume.
- Test your headset with another device to confirm it's functioning correctly.
- Ensure your console/PC audio settings are configured to output audio through the controller.
- Advanced Gaming Buttons Not Mapping:
- Ensure you are following the mapping instructions precisely (press and hold Program Button, then desired button, then AGB).
- If an AGB is already mapped, try clearing it first before re-mapping.
