Setup
Connecting the Controller
- Locate the detachable 10ft (3m) USB cable included with your controller.
- Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the port on the top of the PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller.

- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your Xbox console (Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One) or Windows PC.
- The controller will automatically power on and connect to your device. The Xbox button on the controller will illuminate to indicate a successful connection.
Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
The PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller features a standard Xbox button layout. Refer to the image below for button identification.

Advanced Gaming Buttons (Mappable Buttons)
Your controller includes two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGBs) located on the back of the controller. These buttons can be programmed on-the-fly to replicate any standard controller button (A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, Left Stick Press, Right Stick Press, D-pad).

Programming the Advanced Gaming Buttons:
- Press the Program Button on the back of the controller. The LED indicator on the front of the controller will flash, signaling programming mode.
- Press the standard button you wish to map (e.g., 'A' button). The LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Advanced Gaming Button (AGB) you want to assign the function to. The LED will stop flashing, indicating successful programming.
- Repeat the process for the other AGB if desired.
Resetting Advanced Gaming Buttons:
To reset all AGBs to their default (unmapped) state, press and hold the Program Button for 5 seconds. The LED will flash slowly, then turn off, confirming the reset.
Headset and Audio Control
The controller features a 3.5mm stereo headset jack for connecting compatible headsets. Use the headset dial located below the D-pad to adjust game volume and mute your microphone.
- Volume Dial: Rotate up or down to adjust headset volume.
- Mic Mute: Press the volume dial inward to mute or unmute your microphone. The LED on the dial will indicate microphone status (e.g., red for muted).
