Setup Instructions

1. Connect your Monitor: Connect your HDMI monitor to the HDMI Out port on the KVM switch using an HDMI 2.0 cable (not included).
2. Connect Peripherals: Connect your USB keyboard and USB mouse to the USB-A peripheral ports on the KVM switch.
3. Connect Computers: Use the included USB-C cables to connect each of your two computers (PC1 and PC2) to the USB-C Host Input ports on the KVM switch. Ensure your computers support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) over USB-C for video output. The KVM is bus-powered, drawing power from the connected computers.
4. Power On: Power on your computers and monitor. The KVM switch will automatically detect the active computer.

Note: For optimal performance, ensure your monitor and computers are capable of 4K 60Hz resolution if you intend to use this feature.

Operating Instructions

To switch between the connected computers (PC1 and PC2), simply press the button located on the top of the KVM switch. The LED indicators (PC1, PC2) will illuminate to show which computer is currently active.

• Press the button once to switch from PC1 to PC2.
• Press the button again to switch from PC2 to PC1.

Troubleshooting

• No Display Signal:
  • Ensure all cables (HDMI, USB-C) are securely connected to both the KVM and your devices.
  • Try power cycling your monitor and the connected computers.
  • Unplug and re-plug the USB-C cables from the KVM and the computers.
  • Verify that your computer's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
  • If using a Mac, some users report that Macs can be slow to wake from sleep, which may delay display detection. Try waking the Mac before switching.
• Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
  • Ensure the keyboard and mouse are connected to the correct USB-A peripheral ports on the KVM.
  • Try unplugging and re-plugging the keyboard and mouse.
  • Test the keyboard and mouse directly connected to the computer to confirm they are functional.
• Switching is Slow:
  • A brief delay (typically 2-3 seconds) during switching is normal as the KVM re-establishes connections.
  • Ensure your operating systems and graphics drivers are up to date on both computers.
• Intermittent Connectivity Issues:
  • Ensure the USB-C cables are the ones provided or high-quality, certified USB-C cables capable of supporting video and data.
  • Avoid using excessive cable lengths, as this can degrade signal quality.
