Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for a secure and successful installation. It is recommended to have a second person assist with lifting and mounting the TV.
1. Prepare the TV
- Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
- Attach the TV brackets to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware pack. Ensure the brackets are securely fastened and evenly aligned.

2. Mount the Wall Plate
- Determine the desired mounting height and location on your wall. Use a stud finder to locate a wood stud, or ensure you are mounting on solid concrete or brick.
- Position the wall plate against the wall at the desired height and use the included bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the pilot hole locations.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The drill bit size will vary depending on your wall type (refer to the detailed instructions in the included manual for specific drill bit sizes).
- Secure the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate lag bolts and washers. Tighten them firmly, but do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions
Your Perlegear TV mount offers various adjustments for optimal viewing.
- Swivel: Gently push or pull the TV to swivel it left or right up to +/-90 degrees. This allows for flexible viewing from different areas of the room.
- Tilt: Loosen the tilt adjustment screws on the TV brackets, adjust the screen to your desired tilt angle (-15° to +5°), and then re-tighten the screws to secure the position. This helps reduce glare.
- Extension/Retraction: Pull the TV away from the wall to extend it up to 14.49 inches, or push it back towards the wall to retract it to 3.39 inches.
- Rotation: The mount allows for 90° rotation, enabling you to switch between landscape and portrait orientation. Ensure the locking intervals are engaged for stability.
- Leveling: For minor adjustments after installation, the mount offers +/-3° post-install leveling. Refer to the detailed manual for specific leveling screw locations.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Check Connections: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary, but do not overtighten.
- Inspect for Damage: Regularly inspect the mount for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. If any issues are found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TV mount, refer to the common problems and solutions below. If the problem persists, contact Perlegear customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| TV is not level. | Wall plate not level or post-install leveling needed. | Use the +/-3° post-install leveling feature. If the wall plate itself is significantly off, you may need to re-mount it. |
| Mount feels loose or wobbly. | Mounting bolts are not tight enough or incorrect wall type. | Ensure all lag bolts securing the wall plate are tightened. Verify that the mount is installed on a solid wood stud, concrete, or brick wall, not drywall alone. |
| Difficulty adjusting swivel or tilt. | Joints are too tight or screws are overtightened. | Loosen the relevant adjustment screws slightly. Do not loosen excessively to maintain stability. |
