3. Tuning Your Instrument
The tuner detects the tone by vibration. Play a single note on your instrument. The display will show the note name and a meter indicating whether the note is flat, in tune, or sharp.
- If the note is flat, the needle will point to the left, and the LCD backlight will be blue. Tighten the string.
- If the note is in tune, the needle will point to the middle, and the LCD backlight will turn green.
- If the note is sharp, the needle will point to the right, and the LCD backlight will be blue. Loosen the string.
In Guitar, Bass, Violin, and Ukulele modes, the display may also show the string number along with the note name.

4. Auto Power Off
To conserve battery life, the tuner will automatically turn off if there is no signal input for 3 minutes after it is powered on.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the tuner's response is slow, it's time to replace the CR2032 coin battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
Cleaning
Wipe the tuner with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the device.
